11 Snacks Nutritionists Eat Every Day

1. Carrots With Nut Butter

One snack that I eat almost a day is carrots with peanut or almond butter. It is a little sweet, salty, and crunchy.

2. Granny Smith Apple

Granny Smith Apples, specifically dig thin slices, makes it more satisfying to snack on. 

3. Granola

A food I snacks on daily is granola because it's crunchy and satisfying, filling, and offers a balanced mixture of protein, fat, carbohydrates, and fiber.

4. Roasted Almonds

As cliché as it may be sound, I snack with roasted almonds almost every single day and have them for an extended time.

5. Greek Yogurt and Frozen Cherries

I am a creature of habit. So one day, I even had plain Greek yogurt and frozen cherries. The cherries are so naturally and sweet that I don't need to add any sugar to the yogurt.

I love mini bags of kettle corn popcorn as an entire grain snack. Research shows that foods with complex textures signal fullness before foods with less consistency.

The snack that I enjoy a day is undoubtedly lime chips and freshly made Guacamole. The mixture of flavors is satisfying with healthy fat and whole-grain carbohydrate.

8. Hummus and Vegetables

I eat baby carrots and bell peppers with hummus every afternoon. Raw vegetables offer a satisfying crunch, and therefore the protein within the hummus helps keep me full between meals.

Hard-boiled with a touch everything bagel seasoning or mashed with a touch of avocado, eggs are a daily a part of my snacking life because they're so nutrient-dense

10. Rice Cake With Avocado

My go-to snack maybe a rice cake topped with mashed avocado and flaky sea salt. Once I lose steam within the afternoons, I'm tempted to eat sweets.

11. Nuts

I snack on nuts almost a day. My favorites are Brazil nuts because they're high in selenium and walnuts. After all, they're high in omega-3 fatty acids and pistachios.
